Comment: I have used double-width G here.

I've added the suggested escape syntax. To accommodate this I made a small addition to the CEDICT syntax called 'modifiers'. These modifiers are located before the hanzi. Right now there is only one modifier: the exclamation mark, which results in disabling all syntax validation.

To use it, use either:
! 阿Q正传 阿Q正传 [A1 Q zheng4 chuan2] /The true story .../

Or:
+ ! 阿Q正传 阿Q正传 [A1 Q zheng4 chuan2] /The true story .../

The first one will be converted to the second on on processing. There must be a space between the exclamation mark and the hanzi, otherwise it's considered to be part of the hanzi.

The modifiers will also show up in the change log, but they won't show up in the final CC-CEDICT export.

Use it with care. And please use full width characters for latin letters in the hanzi section, use half width letters in the pinyin section. To type full width characters, use either your system IME or 打字 Type Chinese / 拼音 Type Pīnyīn in the MDBG dictionary (called double width there).

It's possible to find back all 'forced' entries by doing a "substring" search on "+ !" in the change log:

http://cc-cedict.org/editor/editor.php?handler=ListChanges

This allows periodical reviewing of what has been 'forced' over time.
