There are quite a few biographical entries that were created in CC-CEDICT's "anything goes" era. But weeding them out is, in my view, a distraction from tasks of higher priority (except when one of these entries is seriously wrong). One day, when everything else is perfect (:-) we can deal with biographical entries that are "more of an encyclopedia entry". Regarding this particular entry, one can at least say in its favor that it provides the transliterated forms of the names Mikhail and Prokhorov. Mikhail, at least, is quite a common Russian name, I believe, while Prokhorov is a surname shared with at least one other notable Russian, the Nobel Prize recipient Alexander Prokhorov. |
