<< review queue entry 71564 >> sort the defs ---------------------------------- Editor: I see semicolons and slashes now as a *formatting* characters. Not so much as purely delimiters of glosses and senses. Most of the time the formatting will follow the division of senses and glosses. But not in every case. The main thing is, I want to enhance readability for the user. An app might display your suggestion /(Wu dialect) my/our/I; me/we; us/ as 1. (Wu dialect) my 2. our 3. I; me 4. we; us On the other hand, /(Wu dialect) I; me; my; we; us; our/ might be displayed in the app on a single line: (Wu dialect) I; me; my; we; us; our I think the latter format is clearer — easier to take in at a glance. Importantly, it makes it clear that "(Wu dialect)" applies to *all* the glosses, not just the first gloss. |
