Most of these are quite rare, and I don't understand their nuances, but I think at least the most frequent ones should be worth keeping/amending.

1. Pleco uses the term "variant" when referring to synonyms.

However, our notion of "variant" is stronger: the two expressions have to be *pronounced* the same, as well as being synonymous. In other words, they are just two ways of writing the same word (like "center" and "centre").

If two expressions are synonymous, but pronounced differently, we use the format "/see .../"

2. With only one exception (略之一二), the terms in the submission are pronounced differently to the terms they are matched up with, so we would not use the format "/variant of .../"

Moreover, in some cases, the matched-up expressions don't even have the same meaning – and it's not just a matter of "nuance".

For example, 略谈一二 is about *discussing* (谈) ("to discuss something in general terms"), whereas 略知一二 is about *knowing* (知) ("to have a sketchy knowledge of sth"). 略谈一二 and 略知一二 are no more synonyms (let alone variants) than 谈 and 知 are.

3. The 16 expressions in the submission are just the tip of the iceberg. There are other many similar expressions, like 透露一二 and 窺其一二 and 略知皮毛 and 得窺一二 and 窺得一二 and 略有 and 略說 etc.

4. My approach would be to
a) Include/retain just a few of the most common examples (like 略知一二) and
b) Refine the definitions of 略 and 一二 in such a way that the user can figure out the meaning of other expressions of the form 略+(verb) or (verb)+一二 etc.
For example, 略谈一二 can be understood as "sketchily (略) discuss (谈) just a bit (一二)".

I don't think it's necessary to include every possible expression of these types, just as English dictionaries don't need to include every possible combination of "un-...-ed".
("untempted", "unemptied" etc. don't need to be in the dictionary as long as "tempt" and "empty" etc. are there.)

5. As far as I know, "略之一二" could be just an erroneous way of writing 略知一二. I don't see 略之一二 in dictionaries, for example.

6. I get somewhat different Google results using the Verbatim option.
E.g.
"略见一二" - 81,200
"略见一斑" - 508,000

"略之一二" - 33,900
"略知一二" - 1,480,000
... which suggests that 略知一二 occurs 44x more often than 略之一二, whereas your figures suggest it's only 12x.
