definitions first before see/used in/examples
-------------------------------------

Editor:
1) "definitions first"?
So why have you put "/see 鍋|锅[guo1]/" first?

----------------

2) The syntax "/see X/" is supposed to be used only as an *entire definition*: there should be nothing else in the definition other than "/see X/".

"/see X/" is not supposed to be used to direct the user to examples of usage.

Example of correct usage of "/see X/":
春貼 春贴 [chun1 tie1] /see 春聯|春联[chun1 lian2]/

The definition here is saying that both 春貼 and 春聯 refer to exactly the same thing, so in order to display this entry properly, a dictionary app should either
a) Look up the definition of 春聯 and substitute it as the definition, like this:
春貼 春贴 [chun1 tie1] /Spring Festival couplet (the first line of which is pasted on the right side of a doorway at New Year, and the second on the left side)/
or
b) Provide a link to the entry for 春貼.

Therefore, both the current definition of 鍋子 and the definition you propose use the "/see X/" syntax incorrectly (according to our current standards) because in both cases, "/see X/" is not the entire definition.

----------------

3) References for the definitions as I have rewritten them:
