Editor: "Tempeh" is defined in most English dictionaries -- no need to give our own flawed definition.
Contrary to what Oxford says, however, "tempeh" can refer to the food prior to being fried.
I would call it an "ingredient" rather than a "dish".
All the images in the Baike article show 天贝 as an ingredient, before being fried.
