<< review queue entry 69666 - submitted by 'hanpingchinese' >> Maybe someone can check this, but purely in terms of Google hits, it seems 分 should be the penultimate character in both traditional and simplified. --------------------------------------- Editor: In Taiwan, both 份子 and 分子 are commonly used trad forms for the "members of a class or group" sense. Your Google results may have been skewed by results derived from simp-to-trad conversion. (Many documents containing a phrase that means "eliminate counterrevolutionaries" are likely to have originated on the mainland.) My Google results (using the verbatim option): "肅清反革命份子" site:.tw - 9 results "肅清反革命分子" site:.tw - 25 results (if you click through to the last page) These numbers are so small that it's hard to draw any conclusions from them. |
