Overhaul this sense: /corresponds to English -ity, -ism, -ization/ a) Usually "-ism" corresponds to 主义, but 作用 isn't about ideology. b) -ation is a more common equivalent of 作用. E.g. we have 烃化作用 alkylation, 沉积作用 sedimentation, etc. |
