There are various other terms like hospital orderly, hospital attendant etc., but I won't add them because I'm not sure. But I will add "nursing assistant" because of this ~ 护工也不是中国独有的工种啊，比如在美国Certified Nursing Assistant的职能和护工就几乎一样。 Anyway, according to the following quote, that role can be called "nurse's aide", which you submitted ~ "A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, helps patients with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
