Not sure how you guys want to do this, maybe we could also add an entry for 入关学.

Looking through Twitter I came across this tweet:

Wiki has a page on: 入关学
https://zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hans/%E5%85%A5%E5%85%B3%E5%AD%A6

This person on Quora also introduces the subject in English:

What is 入关学?
Maybe it is easier for westerners to understand the expression of RuGuanology (入关学) in this way: the United States is the Roman Empire, and China is Gothic. Whatever a goth did, the Romans would consider him a barbarian.

The origin of RuGuanology (入关学) dates back to 2018-19 ,and it is known from the theory of sea dominance in the South China Sea put forward by Zhihu (知乎, a chinese Quora) user @Shangao Xian (山高县) at that time. In order to prove the importance of the free passage of Malacca Strait to China, Shangao Xian (山高县) creatively used the history of the late Ming Dynasty to prove his opinions and created many interesting theories, which is now known as RuGuanology (入关学). And in 2020, RuGuanology (入关学) has becomed an popular international relation theory in China.

In fact, compared with Cao school (曹学派, the biggest faction of RuGuanology today), Song school (嵩学派) is more capitulationism. It is his pessimism about the power comparison between China and the United States that Shangao Xian (山高县) compares the United States to ancient China (Ming Empire) and China to Jianzhou barbarians (A tribe from Manchuria, northeast China). This parable belittles China and makes some Chinese think that he is anti6 Chinese. Shangao Xian (山高县) devalued China so much to awaken the Chinese who think that China can integrate into the western system unhindered. Let them see that the reason why Chinese are devalued by the west is not that China do not do well enough, but that “Whatever barbarians do, they are still barbarians.”/” No matter what "Communist dictators" do, they are still Communist dictators”

Editor:
In the material quoted, there is only one phrase containing 入关 on its own, and in that usage,
- it is an action, not a theory
- the term 入关学 appears right next to it (meaning, if we have an entry for 入关学, the contextual use of 入关 is readily understood)

So I think you've made a good case for an entry for 入关学 (you've provided lots of material on that), but not for 入关 on its own -- at least, not in this sub.
Diff:
# - 入關 入关 [ru4 guan1] /to enter a pass/to go through customs/
# + 入關 入关 [ru4 guan1] /to enter a pass/to go through customs/the theory that China needs to replace the United States as a world superpower and set the rules for how the world works/
#
+ 入關學 入关学 [ru4 guan1 xue2] /theory proposed in 2019 on Chinese social media, centering on the idea of China replacing the United States as the dominant nation in a new world order, drawing an analogy with the Manchu overthrow of the Ming dynasty, achieved after the Qing army entered China via the Shanhai Pass 入關|入关[ru4 guan1]/
