Editor: Of course, it's not a literal echo chamber (enclosed space where sound reverberates), so I'm expanding the definition.

1) 在中文世界裏,很多人使用“信息繭房”這一概念來描述社交媒體和算法推薦帶來的視野變窄問題。雖然這一概念最初來自西方 (翻譯自“information cocoon”) ,但英文學術界其實很少使用這一概念。在谷歌學術搜索“information cocoon”,得到的大多數結果是中文期刊論文的英文摘要。

那麼,歐美的研究者們用什麼概念來描述這一問題?最常見的是“ 信息迴音室 (echo chamber) ”,有時被使用的還有“ 過濾氣泡 (filter bubble) ”。
