(neologism, slang, self-deprecatory) cat-owner

HDC

-----------------------------------

Editor:
"cat owner" doesn't have a hyphen.

The earliest example I can find is from 2013 in TP:
當然領養也有嚴格程序,創辦人之一小野說:「如果你不是貓奴(形容愛貓成癡的人),請不要來領養我們的貓。」
<<Of course the adoption process remains rigorous. As one of the founders, Xiaoye, says: “If you aren’t a ‘cat slave’ [i.e., crazy about cats], don’t come here to adopt one of ours.”>>
(It could date from even earlier, of course.)

I'm leaving out the obsolete sense. We only have a single Qing dynasty example for that (quoted in HDC).
Diff:
# 貓奴 猫奴 [mao1 nu2] /cat-owner/cat (old, obsolete)/
+ 貓奴 猫奴 [mao1 nu2] /cat owner (neologism c. 2013, jocular)/
