The earliest example I can find is from 2013 in TP: 當然領養也有嚴格程序，創辦人之一小野說：「如果你不是貓奴（形容愛貓成癡的人），請不要來領養我們的貓。」 <<Of course the adoption process remains rigorous. As one of the founders, Xiaoye, says: “If you aren’t a ‘cat slave’ [i.e., crazy about cats], don’t come here to adopt one of ours.”>> (It could date from even earlier, of course.) I'm leaving out the obsolete sense. We only have a single Qing dynasty example for that (quoted in HDC). |
