This edit attempts to resolve two issues with this definition:

1) Provides a better definition
2) Replace Romanized Arabic, "Ḥawwāh' with transliterated Modern Hebrew.
-------------------------

Editor: Romanized Arabic? According to Wikipedia, Ḥawwāh is the transcription in the Tiberian system, which was "devised for Tiberian *Hebrew*".

"Ḥawwāh" was chosen to represent the Hebrew word partly because that spelling is suggestive of how close the Cantonese might be to the Hebrew. "Chava" is less suggestive of that closeness.
Diff:
- 夏娃 夏娃 [Xia4 wa2] /Eve (in Protestant versions of the Bible) (from Hebrew Ḥawwāh, probably via Cantonese 夏娃 {Haa6waa1})/
# + 夏娃 夏娃 [Xia4 wa2] /Eve (name) (from Hebrew Chava, meaning life. Probably via Cantonese 夏娃 {Haa6waa1})/
#
+ 夏娃 夏娃 [Xia4 wa2] /Eve, the first woman (transcription used in Protestant versions of the Bible) (from Hebrew Ḥawwāh, probably via Cantonese 夏娃 {Haa6waa1})/
+ 厄娃 厄娃 [E4 wa2] /Eve, the first woman (transcription used in Catholic versions of the Bible) (from Hebrew Ḥawwāh)/
