But, my dear anonymous friend, you only need to parse the expression correctly and everything turns out fine. Don't parse it as (貧富差距)(不大). Try it this way: (貧富差距)(不)(大). Then voilà! You get this: "(disparity between rich and poor) (not) (big)". So that's the key: you need to be more flexible in your parsing. Let's not go deleting correct definitions just because they aren't applicable when you fail to parse the sentence correctly. |
