Editor: Julien ~ "I'd personally accept it as a set phrase."
OK.

However, the definition
1. appears to be copied from another dictionary (it's exactly ABC says, for example)
2. is incomplete, since it doesn't account for the following sort of usage

實驗法:例如消費者不妨拿市售便當去曬太陽,若是擺一天都不壞,或麵包擺上三、四天不長霉,就表示有問題。
Do an experiment: Buy a take-away meal and put it out in the sun. If it hasn't spoiled after a day, or if bread hasn't gotten moldy after three or four days, there could be a problem.

必須慢慢陰乾,不能曬太陽也不能吹風,
[Ink sticks] have to be dried slowly in the shade rather than in the sun or with a fan.

--------------

Also, "sunbathe" doesn't have a hyphen according to Merriam-Webster, American Heritage, Oxord, and Wiktionary.
Diff:
# 曬太陽 晒太阳 [shai4 tai4 yang2] /sun-bathe/bask in the sun/
+ 曬太陽 晒太阳 [shai4 tai4 yang2] /to be in the sun (getting warm or sunbathing etc)/to put sth in the sun (e.g. to dry it)/
