<< review queue entry 62332 - submitted by 'ross_93' >> The current translation of this word on the dictionary is "capitalism", that is instead 資本主義。 Source (Taiwanese Chinese): Practical audio visual Chinese 4, 2007, (2nd edition), Cheng Chung book co. ltd., Page 229 ---------------------------------------- Editor: > "The current translation of this word on the dictionary is "capitalism"" No, it isn't. Our definition for 资本家 is "capitalist". Here's how another dictionary defines 資本家: 擁有資金,並以經營工商企業而獲取利益的人。 That's a capitalist. An investor may have a few thousand dollars of savings and invest them in, say, a managed fund. Such a person is a 投资者, not a 资本家. |
