wrongdoing --> sb's wrongdoing

I think the evidence in my original sub shows that it is always (or almost always) a case of covering for sb else's wrongdoing, not one's own.
Certainly, that's implied by CC-Canto's def ~ "to clean up someone's sins committed"
Diff:
- 洗地 洗地 [xi3 di4] /to clean the floor/(Internet slang) (lit.) to wash (the blood) off the floor/(fig.) to cover up evidence of wrongdoing/to defend (a wrongdoer)/(coll.) to carpet-bomb/
+ 洗地 洗地 [xi3 di4] /to clean the floor/(Internet slang) (lit.) to wash (the blood) off the floor/(fig.) to cover up evidence of sb's wrongdoing/to defend (a wrongdoer)/(coll.) to carpet-bomb/
