For example, a desert or a body of water can be a 天然屏障. They are barriers but you wouldn't usually call them "screens". 撒哈拉沙漠是北非与中非之间的天然屏障. 这条沟堑为这个城堡形成了一道天然的屏障。 浩瀚的芦苇荡像一个天然的绿色屏障。 然而事實證明，娘子軍們在傳統男性壟斷行業中，以實力為槌，打破性別屏障， "Over time, it is becoming clear that women are using their position to break up men's monopolies in the business world."
