contrary to what other dicts say, is "mansion" really a correct gloss here? if you google "大厦" all you see is tall buildings, while "mansion" returns pictures of large houses/residences...

i know you can often see it translated as "mansion" in various names, but i'm not sure it's right.

LA: 高大的樓房;某些高大樓房的名稱。

- 大廈 大厦 [da4 sha4] /large building/edifice/mansion/CL:座[zuo4]/
# + 大廈 大厦 [da4 sha4] /large building/edifice/CL:座[zuo4]/
