<< review queue entry 59304 - submitted by 'goldyn_chyld' >> i'm not sure that 睪 simplifies to 睾? --------------------------------------------------------- Editor: 简化字总表 says that in characters containing 睪 as a *proper* component, 睪 simplifies to U+20b24, but that 睾 as a *whole* character is not simplified: 睾丸的睾读gāo(高),不简化。 https://zh.wikisource.org/zh/%E7%AE%80%E5%8C%96%E5%AD%97%E6%80%BB%E8%A1%A8#fn_b24_back But as far as I can see, there is nothing in the simplification tables that says 睪 simplifies to 睾. So technically, this sub seems to be valid. Of course, if one were converting a Taiwan text to simplified form, 睪丸 would indeed be transformed to 睾丸. So it's a rather odd case. |
