1. to say that 勾 means 'affair' because 勾當 does, is once more reverse engineering (but often in dicts)

2. M does have that 2nd sense of "reaching for", with a quite colloquial sample sentence; is it in other dicts? is it at gou1?

Editor: well, it seems this is the same gou4 as 夠, 構, 搆: obviously no one knows how to write that word. As 勾 doesn't seem to be much advocated, I'm leaving it out.
