Editor: Well, there might be all sorts of reasons to lie on the tracks, I suppose, apart from the two given in the definition ... such as electrotherapy! ~

2) 卧轨治病的村民对呼啸而过的火车充耳不闻。

It seems that lexicographers can't resist including at least one explanation for why someone might want to 卧轨 :-)

M just says it's for suicide,
and so on.
