Is "the feudal view" the right wording?

Should we have a *verb* definition, matching this sort of use:
现在很多90后的孩子都被宠坏了,男孩子更甚,因为中国很多家庭都重男轻女。

Would "patriarchy" be more apt than "sexism"?
