<< review queue entry 29290 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Note to Yves: Despite the presence of 劍 (double-edged sword) in this word, the bamboo kendo sword (shinai 竹刀) has no sharp edge at all, and the "real" sword it represents (the katana 刀) has just one sharp edge. ;-) I guess the Japanese don't follow the Chinese nomenclature.
