<< review queue entry 38584 - submitted by 'nikvdp' >> These days this term is used (at least in Taiwan) to refer to Facebook's "wall" feature. editor: facebook "wall" is 塗鴉牆. Anyway, we don't think it's interesting to have it in the dictionary. |

<< review queue entry 38558 - submitted by 'nikvdp' >> 受試者 is used in the context of subjects in academic experiments. E.g.: I'm recruiting subjects to participate in a psychology experiment. 我在找受試者參加心理學試驗 Editor: "those tested" is ambiguous, and although ABC, with their definition "examinee; testee" suggests that "those tested" means "people taking an exam", I didn't find examples for that sense. The examples I saw were about experiments and clinical trials and so on. Dict.cn, with their definition "experimenter", is once again off the mark. If there are 6 degrees of separation between any two words, it seems like dict.cn is always one or two degrees off the mark. |
