<< review queue entry 90093 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Better defined as a verb (as in LA, for example). Perhaps most commonly used in 候選人, so "candidate (attributive)" seems reasonable. But consider LA's entry: 等候被選拔、錄取或任用。 例 「登記候選」、「候選資格」。 候選 is not attributive in LA's first example, and in the second, 候選資格 is better understood as "eligibility to stand as a candidate" rather than "candidate qualifications." And 候選人 can be understood as "a person standing as a candidate." |
