<< review queue entry 89520 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Very rare expression. (< 1,000 G results for the trad form.) The present definition was adopted in 2015 from Zdic's interpretation of 贊 as 讚美, replacing the previous ABC-derived definition "to be unable to offer an opinion". However, dictionaries disagree substantially: GR gives an old sense relating to there being no correction/addition to make to a text, as well as a later sense "not to share sb's opinion". I haven't found sufficient genuine modern usage to justify retaining this entry in CEDICT. |
