<< review queue entry 89395 - submitted by 'hanpingchinese' >> In the PRC standard the second syllable is neutral: 现代汉语词典 gives léizhui (ㄌㄟˊ ˙ㄓㄨㄟ). The full-tone léizhuì is the older non-neutral annotation, still found in some reference works. Taiwan's standard is lěizhui — a different first-syllable tone, also with a neutral second syllable — so no major standard has léizhuì as the primary reading. The entry already carries lei2 zhui5 as an alternative, so this is a request to swap which reading is the headword, consistent with taking the PRC standard as primary. ------------------------ Editor: > Taiwan's standard is lěizhui It's [lei3zhui4], according to LA ~ https://www.moedict.tw/~累贅 |
