<< review queue entry 88384 - submitted by 'mr_t' >> https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E4%BA%BA%E7%BC%98/6835481 ------------------ Editor: I actually deleted "popularity" from our definition 9 years ago, and I still have the same reservations as in my 2017 processing comment: https://cc-cedict.org/editor/editor.php?log_id=62865&return=ListChanges&handler=ViewLogEntry The linked Baike article doesn't really persuade me otherwise. It defines 人缘 as: 后多指与他人交往中建立的良好关系。 意义:与人的关系 That's not popularity. The article also discusses 人缘 in terms of qualities such as 尊重他人、乐于助人、心存感激、幽默宽容. Those are not components of popularity; they are qualities that foster good interpersonal relationships. |
