<< review queue entry 88173 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Editor: The current gloss is incomplete. Different sources use 外积 for different operations: LA defines it as the vector cross product ("兩向量的外積為另一向量……"), and says it is also called 叉积. GR gives produit extérieur (= exterior product). Key gives 'outer product'. Wikipedia notes that 外积 may refer to: - the cross product (叉积、向量积), - the exterior (wedge) product (楔积), or - the outer product (tensor product). https://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%A4%96%E7%A7%AF I think the entry should reflect this ambiguity rather than selecting only two of the three senses. |
