There 1440 entries with "(bird species of China)" at the beginning of the English definition.
But, many of the entry species are not *only* native to China/"of China"
E.g.
+ 黑冠黃鵯 https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species/blcbul2/cur/introduction
+ 大仙鶲 https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species/larnil1/cur/introduction
+ 戴勝 https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species/hoopoe/cur/introduction

I suggest deleting the phrase or changing to just "(bird species)".

Thanks for the suggestion. However, it doesn't mean the bird is ONLY found in
China (I think very few birds would fit that criteria), only that the bird is
natively found in China.

As CC-CEDICT is a Chinese-English dictionary, I think it's appropriate to label
birds that are found in China. Granted, we don't label any other animals, but
we've put in significant effort on these 1440 entries and it'd be a shame to
remove them all.
