The entry dates back to 1998. The current gloss "blouse" appears too narrow, but after investigation I'm not convinced that 上衫 deserves to be retained as a Mandarin word at all.

I found very few occurrences in my corpus, and a large proportion of the Google results seem to come from .hk sites. The strongest example I found was from a Hong Kong clothing-history article:

「上衫的襟頭開在一邊,俗稱『大衿衫』。」
「男性則多穿沒有衣領的上衫。」
http://gounli.com/hkbpe/hkpe_museum_html_CHI/museum_industry_garment_01.htm

This suggests a meaning closer to "upper garment" than "blouse", but it may also indicate that the term is regional, historical, or otherwise marginal in modern Mandarin. Most modern dictionaries appear not to include the word, and the standard Mandarin term would normally be 上衣.

Unless other editors can provide stronger evidence of widespread Mandarin usage, I think the entry should be deleted rather than retained with a revised definition.
