<< review queue entry 87183 - submitted by 'dict66' >> ちゅうに‐びょう【中二病】 ------------------- Editor: Japanese terms in definitions should generally be romanized using Modified Hepburn with macrons.* https://cc-cedict.org/wiki/syntax_v2#romanization_of_foreign_languages So here it should be chūnibyō rather than chuunibyou. Admittedly, we do have a few exceptions such as "riajuu" and "kuuki ga yomenai". Perhaps those should eventually be normalized too; on the other hand, they are not overly visually cumbersome, whereas "chuunibyou" is rather hard on the eyes. ------------------ * However, for words and names with well-established conventional English spellings (e.g. Tokyo, aikido), the conventional English form should be used instead, unless specifically indicating pronunciation. |
