<< review queue entry 86547 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> Chinese dragons have four legs and no wings, whereas wyverns have two legs and a pair of wings. (The Chinese Wikipedia article on wyverns calls them 双足龙.) 飛龍 has a long, serpentine (snake-like) body, whereas a wyvern has a compact, lizard-like body. 飛龍 belongs to Chinese mythology and symbolism, whereas the wyvern comes from European tradition. Ex. |
