It is included in both Taiwan and mainland dictionaries, e.g. MoE, Liang'an Cidian, New Age, and New Century. Nor did I find evidence that it's "old". None of the dictionaries label it as such. While it does not appear to be very common, it is attested in modern usage. For example, it appears multiple times in Taiwan Panorama articles between 1980 and 2020: Ex. 「那時我還是小蘿蔔頭，由畫人像的師父啟蒙。」 and in Google Books: Ex. 她下了水把小萝卜头提出了水面,把千大嫂的胳膊拽了起来,也终于把她们两个人拽上了岸。 |
