<< review queue entry 86271 - submitted by 'greencollar' >> In my Chinese text book Conversational Chinese 301 (2001), page 125, 号 was used in simulated phone conversation: 我要389 号. The caller wanted room 389 in a dormitory. I asked the Claude.ai engine and it said 号 meant room number. I checked with copilot ai and it said 号 could indicate a table number, bus number, ticket number, etc. ---------- Editor: Thanks, but this should be covered by the first sense "ordinal number" |
