It's not a formal name like Commonwealth of Australia. Although it's sometimes noted as common in Taiwanese Mandarin, it is also widely used in mainland contexts -- there are about 643,000 Google (verbatim) results for 来澳洲 (simplified Chinese), e.g. 来澳洲6年了过桥A过期了没上诉 护照过期了想回国应该做什么流程 劝你千万不要来澳洲！留学没有你想得那么好！ Some dictionaries list "(old) Oceania", but this sense may be obsolete, and no usage examples were provided.
