Lin Yutang just says 獵戶 lieh-huh, n., hunter. TP examples refer to "hunter", e.g. 武松筋疲力盡的拖著沉重腳步，一步步捱下崗，突然枯草中又出兩隻老虎，武松大叫：「啊呀！我今番死也！」那兩隻虎竟直立起來，原來是兩個奉命在此守候捕虎的獵戶 Also, 獵戶座 = Orion (literally "Hunter Constellation"), not "Household of Hunters". I'd encourage basing submissions primarily on usage rather than solely on dictionary citations. Please feel free to re-submit if you have clear evidence supporting the household sense. |
