豆 豆 [[dou4]] /legume; pulse; bean; pea (CL:顆|颗[ke1],粒[li4])/(old) stemmed cup or bowl/
荳 豆 [[dou4]] /legume; pulse; bean; pea (CL:顆|颗[ke1],粒[li4]) (variant of 豆[dou4])/

Does 荳 also has a meaning of '(old) stemmed cup or bowl' too?

If it is, I think 'variant of 豆[dou4]' would suffice for the 荳 entry, so that there will be just a single source of truth. Some Chinese learners might mistakenly thought that 荳 just only means 'has legume; pulse; bean; pea' if 荳 have this definition:

荳 豆 [[dou4]] /legume; pulse; bean; pea (CL:顆|颗[ke1],粒[li4]) (variant of 豆[dou4])/

No, it does not also have that meaning, as far as I'm aware.
Certainly, the grass radical (艹) suggests that 荳 is specifically the plant sense (legume).

And MoE (for example) indicates
荳 = 雙子葉植物的一科。種類甚多,實皆結莢。 (i.e. legume)

... while its entry for 豆 includes both the legume sense and the cup/bowl sense ~

You can read about our variant format here ~
https://cc-cedict.org/wiki/syntax_v2#variants

Here is a quote from that page:
a) if it's a full variant (i.e. exactly the same definition), we use /variant of …/ without adding the definition.
b) if it's a partial variant (i.e. only some of the senses of one form apply to the other form) we use /definition (variant of ...)/
