<< review queue entry 84712 >> Seemed just like a simple typo, given 德 is used in every other instance for Texas ------------------ Editor: Apparently, both are correct transliterations. 得克萨斯州 is the formal, official, diplomatic written form, while 德克萨斯州 is the common, widely-used, popular written form. 得克萨斯 is indicated in recent editions of both New Age and New Century C-E dictionaries, and neither has an entry for 德克萨斯.
