I wouldn't necessarily delete a transparent word on that basis alone, but in this case there's a more standard synonym 存款人, which yields over 30 times as many Google results. So I'm going to replace 存款者 with 存款人, defined simply as "depositor", since none of the three glosses in the current definition -- "saver; investor; account holder" -- quite hits the mark. |
