Title transfer, being a concept that applies universally, is therefore a more accurate gloss. Also, "property transfer/conveyancing" would strongly suggest that 产权转让 is limited to real estate, whereas it actually refers more broadly to the transfer of ownership or other property rights in both tangible and intangible assets.
