There is a very well-known attraction out there: 桃花沟 (peach blossom gully(?)) - which is almost exclusively referred to as: 龙泉桃花沟. There is also 龙泉桃花节 (Longquan Peach Blossom Festival). The only reason you might see "more" references to 龙泉驿 now would only be because after the metro (subway) was extended out to 龙泉 - the stop was named 龙泉驿. Now go to 龙泉驿 sounds more like a colloquial shortening of 龙泉驿站. ----------------------- Editor: Thanks, Mo. |
