I found the current definition a bit confusing. It wasn’t immediately clear to me that 逢年过节 is an idiom, for example:
逢年过节,我们都会回家看望父母。
During holidays and festivals, we always go home to visit our parents.
Diff:
- 逢年過節 逢年过节 [feng2 nian2 guo4 jie2] /at the Chinese New Year or other festivities/
# + 逢年過節 逢年过节 [[feng2 nian2 guo4 jie2]] /lit. whenever (one) encounters the New Year or celebrates a festival; during holidays and festivals; on New Year's or other festive occasions/

+ 逢年過節 逢年过节 [[feng2nian2-guo4jie2]] /(idiom) during holidays and festivals; on festive occasions such as New Year/
