<< review queue entry 82205 - submitted by 'polaris' >> 便民 + 利民 -------------------------- Editor: I guess it's no coincidence that this phrase was deleted from Chinese Wiktionary the other day? 刪除理據:便民+利民,只是兩者連起來寫--Kethyga(留言) 2025年5月18日 (日) 07:42 (UTC) But I'll keep it. The word order is conventionalized, even though the meaning is compositional. Like "peace and quiet" and "law and order", it's not so idiomatic if you reverse the order (利民便民). Note to kbaiko: I don't think it's a chengyu, but if it is, let me know. Ex. 我市公安机关户政部门推出便民利民新举措,为办理居民身份证提供高效优质服务。 |
