<< review queue entry 82075 - submitted by 'richwarm' >> https://www.jd.com/chanpin/49946.html The above website shows pics of surface-mounted bolt-action locks that are described as 插锁. They are not "mortise locks" (locks fitted into the thickness of a door), although a mortise locks do use a bolt mechanism. Wp ~ A mortise lock is a lock that requires a pocket—the mortise—to be cut into the edge of the door or piece of furniture into which the lock is to be fitted. Mortise lock describes only a method of fitting the lock, and says nothing about the quality or key mechanism. |
