<< review queue entry 81350 - submitted by 'agedits' >> Updated the Pinyin I suggest the rule that "Given Names with Two Syllables Are Written Together", and also the Pinyin on this page: https://zh.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E4%BD%A9%E5%A5%87 instead of Pèi Qí or Pèi qí (the latter being clearly wrong) ------------------------- Editor: We are currently updating entries from version 1 to version 2 format. You can read about it here: https://cc-cedict.org/wiki/format:syntax_v2 Thanks for your contributions, but we are not soliciting submissions that are purely for reformatting the pinyin. That's because we are already well aware that most of our entries (about 86% of them) need to have their pinyin reformatted, and we are working our way through those entries, and checking their definitions at the same time. We welcome submissions for new words, new senses of existing words, pronunciation corrections, spelling corrections, definition corrections, etc. — but not submissions that are basically just saying, "Hey, you haven't reformatted this one yet." |
