Moreover, it could be considered obvious that if 普京 is defined as Vladimir Putin, then 普京 is a Russian surname that is spelled "Putin" in English, making the proposed addition somewhat superfluous. CC-CEDICT may be inconsistent on this specific issue, but I think it's of low priority to spend time on making all the entries of this type consistent. |
