We often say things like "You'll spoil your appetite (if you eat those snacks before mealtime)". 败胃, on the other hand, is typically something *food* or *medicine* does (e.g. 苦参伤肾败胃) -- NOT something a person does to themself. LA mentions the figurative sense (as does GF): 傷害胃而食欲不振。比喻使失去興趣。 例 「苦寒敗胃」、「傷肝敗胃」、「這齣電視劇製作粗糙、劇情低俗，讓人敗胃」。 |
