Stinky tofu is made from tofu marinated in a fermented marinade. Natto is made from whole soybeans, which are steamed and then themselves fermented. The processes are quite different. Therefore, both glosses are incorrect. Natto is fermented soybeans. Stinky tofu is sort-of fermented marinated tofu. |
